FAQs – Snake Vet Care
We recommend a secure, ventilated plastic tub or a dedicated reptile carrier. During colder months, it is vital to keep your snake warm during transport using heat pads or warm water bottles (insulated so they don’t touch the snake directly).
Photos of your enclosure, including details of your thermostat settings and UV lighting, are incredibly helpful for our vets to assess husbandry-related issues.
Yes. “Anorexia” in snakes can be caused by anything from incorrect temperatures to underlying infections. We will perform a full exam to find the root cause.
Consultations for exotic species start from £58. We are transparent with our pricing and will always discuss the costs of further tests or treatments with you beforehand.
