Pet Care FAQs

At least once a year for a wellness check. Puppies, kittens, and senior pets may need more frequent visits.

Core vaccines vary by species but typically include rabies, distemper, and parvovirus for dogs, and rabies, FVRCP for cats. Your vet will tailor a schedule.

You should be able to feel their ribs without pressing hard and see a visible waistline. A vet can confirm with a body condition score.

Most adult dogs and cats do well with 2 meals a day. Puppies and kittens may need 3–4 meals daily.
