FAQs – Bearded Dragon Vet Care
Photos of your vivarium setup (showing bulb placement and thermometer readings) are vital. We also recommend bringing a fresh faecal sample if you have concerns about their digestion or appetite.
Bearded Dragons should be transported in a secure, ventilated box or specialized reptile carrier. Keep them warm using a heat pack or warm water bottle wrapped in a towel, never place your dragon directly against a heat source.
A “black beard” can be a sign of stress, aggression, or, more importantly, pain. If your dragon is lethargic and showing a dark beard, it’s best to book a check-up to rule out underlying illness.
